My miniature architectural interiors explore how we perceive and interpret reality. They play with disclosure and deception, using mirrors to distort and expand the interior spaces that unfold outside of their exterior boundaries. Each sculpture suggests a journey, however the destinations are unknown and the progression from one point to the next seems convoluted, disorienting, and misleading. This contradiction hints towards the idea of progress which drives us to continually move forward, but at points loses sense of purpose and meaningfulness. Nevertheless, it is through these confused wanderings that we find an opportunity to question notions of hope and despair.
